Once you installed YouTube2iPod, in Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome, right click on any video thumbnail or video link and select " Download with YouTube2iPod " from the menu, then let YouTube2iPod do the rest. It really is that easy!

Note: You don't need to play the video.

Any place there is a video link, whether it is inside a blog post, search result or an email, you can right click on it to download it, as long as the target video is from the websites we support. Full supported websites list here.

YouTube2iPod automatically name the download videos by their titles and put them under the right folder so you don't need to type names for them.

If a video is being played, in Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome, click on the green button on toolbar, the playing video will be downloaded.

In Internet Explorer and Firefox, there is a submenu "Download with YouTube2iPod" under "Tools" menu, you can use it to download the current playing video too.

Tips: If can't find the green "Download with YouTube2iPod" button on your Internet Explorer or Firefox toolbar, please check our FAQ.

Click the checkbox in front of a video to select it, then click "Convert" button to convert selected videos to compatible format that can be played on your iPod/iPhone/iPad, BlackBerry, PSP, etc.

For iPod/iPhone/iPad, click "Convert+Upload" button will also add converted videos to your iTunes library. So they will be ready to snyc to you device once you plug in it.

Tips: If you select the "Auto convert and upload to iTunes when download is complete" on the top of main window, videos will be converted and added to iTunes library automatically after downloading finishes.

For all other devices, plug in the storage card (microSD,SD,MMC,etc) of your device to your computer and click "Copy To..." button to convert and copy converted videos to the specific folder on your storage card.

You should change your target video type and size in Configuration Window to best fit your device. By default, the setting is "MP4 480x320". which is for iPhone, iPod Touch, BlackBerry.

Double click on a video to play it.

Click the "Full screen" button at the bottom right area to play in full screen.

Click the "Play in a new window" button at the top right area to play the video in a separate window.
